Iris is loved!
This is Iris. She is so
happy with Edith and John
in New York.
Here are some pics of
Edith and Iris. We
so loved having Edith
come and get her. Then
you can see Edith and
Iris at home in N.Y.
There is also a shot
of Dr. Hubner, our
wonderful veterinarian,
giving her one last
check-up.
Iris means rainbow.

"5tttttttttttttttttttt      Iris just typed that to you.  She stood on the keyboard so I left it in.
It means, Thank You Mary Ann for giving me a chance at life and caring for me like I
was going to be your own.  It means thanks for being so wonderful to my new mommy
so she has so many fond memories and can think of how special it was to wait for me
to arrive."

This little puppy,Iris,is so loved and adored.

Edith and I have become such friends through God's creation - a tiny,
sweet little puppy.  Here are more pictures of Iris at home and with
John too.

"Thank you for those wonderful words. I think about you and the family and all the dogs quite a lot.
Cathy and John always ask after you to make sure you are well. You made a deep and lasting impression
on everyone, especially me. At this moment the house is quiet for the first time today. John is peacefully
snoring and Iris and Jake are tucked right in next to John sleeping soundly. When we look at Iris we
just marvel at her beauty. She is so very much adored. Jake and she ran themselves ragged today
playing. It is so good to see him spunky and playing again. He was best friends with Mia and we
think sometimes that he feels like she is back. Iris not only looks like her but plays like her as well.
Iris goes nuts whenever we drink milk. She loves it and dives into my cereal bowl. I told John that we now
know why God gave her a white chin. It is the one spot that gets wet when she drinks milk. She also has
the cutest habit of gently putting her paw in her water bowl. She loves to play with water.

Oh Mary Ann I ponder so often the miracle of looking on puppy find and finding a peek a poo born on the day Mia
died and that God had you name her Iris so that we would come together.

Have a wonderful weekend. You are the kindest and warmest person. You are generous and loving in all you
do and to all who cross your path. You deserve the best and you are always in my prayers. Lots of love.
E (and the Crew)."

"Dear Mary Ann,

Hi, I just wanted to check in with you and let you know how Chloe is doing.  She is
great!  We fell in love with her as soon as we saw her.   I think we are spoiling her
already.  We have hardly left her alone at all.  It drives us all crazy to think of
leaving her alone for any length of time.  She is so sweet.  I think she is adjusting
just fine.
She's starting to get adventurous and wander around the house by herself.  I can't
thank you enough.  I will send pictures as soon as I get a new battery for my camera
this weekend.

Thanks again,
Michelle & family"
(Henny has a new name, it is Chloe.  Michelle sent this after Chloe had been with
them for a week.   08/09/06)

Adrean drove quite a ways to get her daughter a puppy, who had been dragging
around jump ropes for several days, pretending she had a puppy on a leash.
Adrean knew it was time to end this drama. Diggy is going to be so very loved
and played with - and he is up for the job.  He took right up with Adrean.
On our way home from meeting with Adrean, we got to take a visit to Onandaga Cave.
We had a great and very interesting tour.

Sheyenne makes a hit with her new family.

This is Sanna and her grand daughter,
Hailee - from Mississippi.

Hailee's first response was "She's so little!"

Sanna was surprising her husband with
little Sheyenne.  He grew up with a pekapoo,
and has been wanting another for some
time.  I talked with her since then.  Her
husband is totally taken with his little
"Annie".
Hailee was a big help to her grandmother,
in finding us on the computer.  She also
is having much fun with Annie.
Sanna tells me that Annie whines a little,
and they take her out to do her business.
What a smart little puppy!

One little note:  Often our puppies look
bigger in their pictures, because we do
such close up shots.

"HI MARY ANN,
JUST A LITTLE NOTE TO TELL YOU LITTLE ANNIE IS DOING JUST FINE.  SHE IS VERY SMART.  SHE
HAS FEW ACCIDENTS.  BILL IS HERE WITH HER ALL DAY  SO, HE CAN READ HER LITTLE SIGNS
BEFORE SHE GOES.  WE TAKE HER OUT IN THE DAY TIME BUT, SHE USES PADS AT NIGHT.  SHE
EATS REAL GOOD AND HAS HAD TWO BATHS SO FAR.  SHE DIDN'T LIKE THE FIRST ONE AT ALL
BUT, DID BETTER TODAY.  I FOUND THE DIAMOND PUPPY FOOD AT THE FIRST STORE I STOPPED
AT.
BILL IS CRAZY ABOUT HER.  HE SITS AND ROCKS HER IN HIS CHAIR AND TALKS BABY TALK TO
HER ALL OF THE TIME.  WE REALLY LOVE HER, EVERYONE THINKS SHE IS SO CUTE.  JUST WANTED
TO UPDATE YOU, TAKE CARE AND HAVE A GOOD WEEK.
SANNA SPEARS.
I THINK I HAVE MY COMPUTER FIXED FINALLY.  I GOT SEVERAL MESSAGES FROM YOU THAT WERE
POSSIBLY STORED.  LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU SOON."     (from Sanna)

Another great home going.

Aaron and Kristen are a
super nice young couple,
who are about to become
people parents.
They wanted to get a pekapoo,
and have her all trained
before baby comes in April.
It was a pretty cold night
when we met halfway.
You can see Kristen's rosy
cheeks.

Mom rather liked the home-made rolls here,

Amy and Jason with Sunnie.
Meet Jason and Amy.  They also
lived in the same direction as
Aaron and Kristen, so we were
able to meet with them the
same night.
They are giving little Sunnie a
new home and a fellow pekapoo
to play with.

It was really so cold, it was like
click the picture, and time to get
back where it was warm.

Brrrrrr!!!

These two were heading off for
a week-end at a lake cabin.
